Sam Jones

I like to refer to myself as a Music Engineer. I want to get my hands dirty with anything that has to do with producing, recording, mixing and performing music. I consider myself lucky to have learned my recording skills in an analogue recording environment where finding the right sound and enabling the best possible performance was paramount to having a successful session. Only later was I introduced to the power of DAW’s and post production possibilities. I love both approaches and I’m happy operating both tape machine and DAW. On my journey of becoming a sound engineer I dedicated myself to artists that I felt connected to and inspired by and thus have also been working in the live sound sector as a Front of House Engineer.
